The paper titled “Aqua Cleanse: A Smart Solution for Waterway Waste Management Using Hybrid CNN-RNN with Spatial LSTM for Multilabel Image Classification” authored by Mr.Abhinav Dev V. M., Mr.Karthik Raj (S7 CS1, Dept. of CSE) & Dr. Anne Dickson (Associate Professor & A-HoD, Dept. of CSE) was presented at RECYCLE 2025 – 5th International Conference, hosted by IIT Guwahati on June 5th and 6th, 2025, and won the Best Research Paper Award.

Ms. Nandini Krishna R.S, Mr. Abhinav K, Mr. Ambu Bharath V Nair, and Mr. Adwaith S Jith from S6CS2 have won the BEST PROJECT AWARD in the Artificial Intelligence stream for their project titled “AI-Powered Waste Management System for Urban Environment” at SRISHTI 2025, held at Saintgits College of Engineering (Autonomous), Kottayam on February 24-25, 2025.
